Note | Irving's name is spelled variously, but generally appears as Irving in census information and in his obituary. Interesting, Hamilton is his middle name, perhaps after his step grandmother Margaret Hamilton, second wife of George Main. The names of the children of Irving and Florence are fairly consistent over the census years and a fair presentation of them may be made. While the names of children are taken from census information, it is startling to note that there were 15 of them - this some years after making the list. A second look is probably warranted. Irving and Florence seem to have spent many years in Fremont Township, but were back in Millbrook Township by 1930. There, they apparently lived out their lives. |
