BirthJoseph Lawrason was born on 27 March 1811. 
MarriageHe married Ann Jerusha Carpenter on 5 December 1833.
The wedding date of 5 December 1833 for Joseph and Anne is based on notes left by Thomas Stuart Lawrason. (See page 68 of Delores MacIntyre's work.) Stuart is a grandson of Joseph's son Miller Douglas Lawrason. This date will no doubt be correct. A marriage bond for Joseph and Ann was made out at Brantford on the 30th November, 1833, by John Carpenter of the Township of Dumfries and George Washington Case of the Town of Brantford.
 
DeathHe died on 27 August 1867 at Simcoe, Norfolk Co., Ontario, at age 56. 
BurialHe was buried at St. George Cemetery. 
NoteVol. 4 of Obituaries From Ontario's Christian Guardian, 1861 to 1870, Donald A. McKenzie, 2008, Global Heritage Press, page 195, reads as follows:

Lawrason, Joseph died Aug. 27, 1867, in his 57th year, at his residence, Simcoe. Mr. Lawrason resided for many years at St. George, where he was a member of the Wesleyan Church. - Sept. 11, 1867, p. 147, D.N.

Joseph's date of death, August 27, 1867, is confirmed by the date on his gravestone at St. George cemetery where he is buried with his wife Ann, his daughter Sophia Lawrason Moe, and his son Miller Douglas Lawrason.
