Clark of South Dumfries. On November 4, 1858. Elijah Clark, minister of the Regular Baptist Church. Here is the marriage notice from the Brantford Expositor: Misner, Elisha Marriage Dec 10, 1858 BWX, P. 2 Persons, Henrietta (Wife) Nov. 4, at this own residence in south Dumfries, Mr. Elisha Misener to Miss Henrietta, Parsons, both of Troy. The marriage notice is a bit confusing, but it does indicate that the marriage took place in South Dumfries. Maria Clark, witness in the above marriage, was the wife of Elijah Clark. They appear together in Ancaster Township at the time of the 1861 census. |
