The marriage notice is a bit confusing, but it does indicate that the marriage took place in South Dumfries.

Maria Clark, witness in the above marriage, was the wife of Elijah Clark. They appear together in Ancaster Township at the time of the 1861 census.
 
DeathHe died on 14 November 1916 at Ithaca, Gratiot County, Michigan, at age 82. 
BurialHe was buried on 18 November 1916 at Oakwood Cemetery, Traverse City, Michigan. 
NoteIn the 1870 U.S. census, Elisha and Henrietta are living in Prairieville, Michigan, and he is said to be working in a grist mill.
