| Note | We have next to no information about Mary Miller and do not know where she is buried. Adam Misener and Helen Coleman are buried together at Troy. Troy Cemetery was not opened until around 1835, so Mary will be buried elsewhere. Mary and Adam were married in Jerseyville and, viewing a transcription of Jerseyville Cemetery, it will be noted that there is an extensive Miller family buried there. Mary may be of this family, though no Jerseyville Cemetery record for a stone for Mary has been found. As noted, Mary died around 1826. Gravestones from this era do survive, but not many. |
