     James Anthony Pappajohn was born on 24 May 1883 in Rapsani, Thessaly, Greece.1 He was the son of Anthony Pappajohn and Helen (--?--.)2 He immigrated about 1907 to Canada and arrived in Vancouver about 1908.1 He was a candymaker in Vancouver, British Columbia.2 He married Melba Vera Sigsworth, daughter of John Sigsworth and Esther Wilson, on 2 April 1924 in Vancouver, British Columbia.2 He died on 15 March 1939 in Vancouver, British Columbia, at age 55.1 He was buried on 18 March 1939 in Vancouver, British Columbia.1
