Maria Cuff was born between 1825 and 1829 in Ireland.1,2 She was the daughter of Charles Cuffe and Jane Lilley. She lived in Monguagon Twp, Wayne County, Michigan, in October 1851.3 She married Alexander Cuff, son of Richard Cuffe and Jane Morrison, on 20 October 1851 in Trenton, Wayne County, Michigan.3,4
It's possible that their nephew John Broder lived with them briefly after his arrival in the US; his affidavit of immigration was signed in Outagamie County in Oct 1880. She was left a widow when Alexander Cuff died in 1907.5 She died on 19 March 1910 in Hortonia, Outagamie County, Wisconsin.5 She was buried in Union Cemetery, Hortonville, Outagamie County, WisconsinG.5
