James Edward Clements
     James Edward Clements was born on 30 March 1855 in Weber County, Utah. He has also been reported to have been born in Oxford, Oneida County, Idaho.1 He was the son of James Clements and Elizabeth Cox. He married Sarah Alice Beebe, daughter of William Albert Beebe and Louisa Newton, on 11 December 1871.1 He died on 19 January 1873 at age 17 while quarrying stone for the Salt Lake temple.
