      LaRue Burbank was born on 5 December 1928.1 She was the daughter of Frank Burbank and Dean Hall.2 She married Howard Melvin Harris on 30 June 1948 in Cardston, Alberta.3 She was left a widow when Howard Melvin Harris died on 26 May 2013.3,4 She died on 25 September 2015 in Taber, Alberta, at age 86.1,5 She was buried on 2 October 2015 in Taber Memorial Garden, Taber, Alberta.1,5

LaRue's obituary in the Lethbridge Herald, Lethbridge, Alberta, on 28 September 2015 read:
"LaRue Harris
1928 – 2015
LaRue Harris (nee Burbank), beloved wife of the late Howard Harris, passed away in Taber on Friday, September 25, 2015 at the age of 86 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family in the Relief Society room at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 – 50 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, October 1, 2015 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. and also at the church prior to the funeral service on Friday, October 2, 2015 between 1:00 P.M. and 1:40 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 – 50 Avenue, Taber on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden. Condolences may be forwarded by visiting our website at http://www.southlandfuneral.com.
