Sherman Maxwell Farrar

     Sherman Maxwell Farrar was born about 1912 in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska.1 He married Olive Esther Graves, daughter of Harold Herman Graves and Esther Mary Wallen, about 1970.2 He died on 22 October 2002 in Menifee Valley Medical Center, Sun City, Riverside County, California.1

His obituary read:
"SHERMAN MAXWELL FARRAR, 90, died Tuesday of a stroke at Menifee Valley Medical Center in Sun City. A native of Lincoln, Neb., Mr. Farrar lived in Menifee one year. He formerly lived in Loma Linda 36 years, Lake Arrowhead 11 years and Redlands four years. He was a general building contractor and owned Sherman Farrar Inc. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Mr. Farrar is survived by his wife, Olivia; two sons, Sherman of New Mexico and Michael Aldred of Washington; two daughters, Ruth McNeil of Redlands and Kathi Eckenroth of Riverside; 23 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Henry of Idaho. Services will be private. Evans-Brown Mortuary in Sun City is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions: A Christian Ministry of choice."1
