     Jonathan Jones was born about 1774.1 He was baptized on 29 November 1775 in Kaatsbaan Church, Ulster County, New York.2,3 He was the son of James Jones and Christianah Folk. He married Sarah Kelley, daughter of John Kelley and Mary Smith, on 10 April 1798.4,3 He and Sarah Kelley lived in Porter, Niagara County, New York.3
