     Sarah Rosetta Tolhurst was born on 11 January 1864 in Jerseyville, Ancaster Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1,2 She was the daughter of Alfred and Eliza Tolhurst.3 She married James Franklin Mulholland, son of John Mulholland and Rachel Shaver, on 1 September 1879 in St Andrew's Manse, Dundas, Wentworth County, Ontario.3 She and James Franklin Mulholland lived in R.R. 3, Glanford Stn, Wentworth County, Ontario.4 She was left a widow when James Franklin Mulholland died on 30 November 1938.4 She died on 1 September 1944 of a cerebral haemhorage in St Peter's Infirmary, Hamilton, Wentworth County, Ontario, at age 80.1 She was buried in Troy Cemetery, Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1
