     Louisa Templeton was born in 1863 in East Oxford Twp, Oxford County, Ontario.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of Admiral Nelson Templeton and Matilda Kennedy.4,2 She married Martin Jones, son of Andrew Johnson Jones and Mary Delilah Mann, on 31 December 1884 in Lynden, Wentworth County, Ontario.1,2 Martin Jones and Louisa Templeton lived most of their lives in the Troy area. For some years, Martin was a mail carrier, picking up the mail at Lynden and carrying it to Troy, delivering to rural mail boxes along the way.1 She was left a widow when Martin Jones died on 16 December 1916.1,5 She died on 23 January 1943.1 She was buried in Troy Cemetery, Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.6,1
