      Coy Laverne Coleman was born on 29 October 1880 in Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.2 He was the son of Charles Coleman and Florence Nancy Mulholland.1

One record shows Coy Laverne dying in France in 1922, but a family story suggests that this is not the case. Rather, he moved to the southwestern U.S. at some point and married. This was possibly in Nebraska or California. Neither when he died nor his wife's name is known.1
