     Gordon Thomas Metcalf was born on 5 February 1928 in Schomberg, Ontario.1 He was the son of William Mullock Metcalf and Mary Fogg.1 He married Nettie Helena Mitchell, daughter of Cyril Leroy Mitchell and May Anne Matthews, on 18 July 1953 in St Andrews Presbyterian Church, St Catharines, Lincoln County, Ontario.1 He died on 30 August 1958 in St Catharines, Lincoln County, Ontario, at age 30.1 He was buried in Pleasant View Cemetery, Fonthill, Wellington County, Ontario.1
