     Matthew Nisbet was born on 20 February 1841.1 He married Harriet Coleman, daughter of Daniel Coleman and Mary Abel, on 9 March 1869.1 He died on 1 February 1902 in Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario, at age 60.2 He was buried in Troy Cemetery, Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1
