Lucinda Coleman was born on 23 January 1860 in Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1 She was the daughter of Daniel Coleman and Mary Abel.1 She married Judson Smith, son of Albert Kellogg Smith and Amelia Misener, on 31 October 1882 in Galt, Waterloo County, Ontario.2
She died on 25 September 1937 in Galt, Ontario, at age 77.1 She was buried on 27 September 1937 in Mountview Cemetery, Cambridge, Waterloo County, Ontario.1
Lucinda's nickname was Tin, and Aunt Tin she was to the family. She was quite a hand with needlecraft and a great quilter.1
