Phoebe Coleman was born on 15 April 1852 in Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.2 She was the daughter of Daniel Coleman and Mary Abel.1 She married Martin Van Buren Dye on 15 November 1887 in Chesaning, Saginaw County, Michigan.3 She died on 8 April 1930 of cerebral haemorrhage in Lynden, Wentworth County, Ontario, at age 77.2
She was buried on 10 April 1930 in Troy Cemetery, Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1
The following is from the Brantford Expositor: Dye, Phoebe (Mrs.) Death 04/16/1930 BX, P. 21, Col. 4 - Funeral took place from the residence of the late Mrs. Phoebe Dye. Service conducted by Elder Thompson of the Adventist Church. Pall Bearers: R.A.Thompson; Geo. Howard; Fred Misener, Edgar Mullholland & R M Robb. Interment at Troy.1
