      John William Jones was born on 26 November 1879 in Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1,2 He was the son of Bernice Bristol Jones and Julia Ann Wilson. He married Ellen May Chiswell on 28 June 1905 in Beverly Twp, Ontario.3 He died on 30 January 1921 of encephalitis in Hamilton, Ontario, at age 41.4,5 He was buried on 2 February 1921 in Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton, Wentworth County, Ontario.5
