     John Emerson Camp was born on 11 March 1842 in Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1 He was the son of John Camp and Elizabeth Jones.1 He died on 2 October 1863 of typhoid fever in Baraboo, Sauk County, Wisconsin, at age 21.1
