     Nathaniel Camp was born on 24 December 1831 in Beverly Twp, Wentworth County, Ontario.1 He was the son of John Camp and Elizabeth Jones.1 He married Mary Ann Crook on 3 March 1859 in Cazenovia, Sauk County, Wisconsin.1 He died on 24 June 1864 of wounds received on 15 June 1864 in the Civil War battle at Kennesaw Mountain in Cobb County, Georgia, at age 32.2 He was buried in Plot J-9821, Marietta National Cemetery, Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia.2
