She was the daughter of Francis E Roberts & Margaret Ann Williams.2 She married first Lawrence Joseph Joyce, son of Thomas Lawrence Joyce and Mary Regan, on 14 August 1924 in St Cuthberts Church, Toronto, York County, Ontario.2 She was left a widow when Lawrence Joseph Joyce died on 29 December 1954.3 After Joe's death, she married Charles Wigmore. She died on 2 May 1981 in Peterborough, Ontario, at age 76.3
