      Andrew Patrick McGeein was born on 18 November 1866 in Ontario.1,2 He was the son of Nicholas McGeein & Mary Abernathy.3 He married Anastasia Fitzgerald, daughter of John Fitzgerald and Anne M Fitzgerald, on 25 January 1893 in St Mary's Cathedral, Kingston, Frontenac County, Ontario.3,4 He was a guard in an asylum at the time of his marriage - probably the Rockwood Lunatic Asylum in Portsmouth, Ontario.3 He immigrated in 1895 to United States.1 He was a machine hand in a belt factory in 1910.5 He died on 28 March 1942 in Alameda County, California, at age 75.2 He was buried in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward, Alameda County, CaliforniaG.6
