Jane F Kahl was born on 4 March 1926 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.1,2 She was the daughter of William D Kahl and Mary Margaret Doyle.3,4 She married Merle H Johnson.5 She died on 1 November 2009 in Mentor, Ohio, at age 83.5 Jane's obituary in the News-Herald, Willoughby, Ohio, on 4 November 2009 read:
"Funeral Mass for Jane F. (Kahl) Johnson, age 83, of Mentor, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe.
Mrs. Johnson died Nov. 1, 2009.
She was born March 4, 1926, in Cleveland, and lived in Willowick for 18 years before moving to Mentor one year ago.
She was a member of St. Jerome Parish and a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 71.
Survivors are her children, William (Diane) Johnson and Patricia Russo; grandchildren, Brian, Lora, Daniel, Jennifer, Jonathan, and Jacqueline; and great-grandchildren, Alicia, Christy, Kirstin, Maddie, Kyle, Ethan, Ricky and Harper.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle H. Johnson; parents, William and Mary Kahl; and siblings, William Kahl, Eileen Manzi and Rita Baldwin.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Monreal Funeral Home of Eastlake, 35400 Curtis Blvd. 44095.
Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township."5
