     George Martinuk was born about 1926 in Lethbridge, Alberta.2 George served in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII and took part in the invasion of Normandy.2 The engagement of George Martinuk and Eileen Jordan was announced on 5 April 1952.3 He married Eileen Jordan, daughter of John K Jordan and Anne Cecelia Doyle, on 21 April 1952 in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Fort Macleod, Alberta.3,4,1 He died on 1 April 1978 in Lethbridge, Alberta.2,5
