He married second Joanne Marlene Tuff, daughter of David Taylor Tuff and Gertrude Margaret Hamilton, on 18 June 1960 in Seattle, King County, Washington.3 He died on 29 May 1965 of a subdural hemorrhage & basal skull fracture suffered in an automoble accident in Seattle, King County, Washington, at age 36.2 He was buried on 1 June 1965 in Washington Memorial Park, Seattle, King County, WashingtonG.2
