     Martin Michael Dunn was born on 4 September 1866 in South Crosby Twp, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario.1 He was the son of James Dunn and Eliza Dunn.1 He was baptized on 1 January 1867 in St Edward the Confessor Church, Westport, Leeds & Grenville County, OntarioG.1 Martin Michael Dunn and his sister Sarah Ann Dunn farmed just on the outskirts of Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario. They inherited 300 acres West of Indian Lake from their father.2,3 He was never married. He died in 1948 in Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, Ontario, after he was kicked by his horse. Jim Doyle was staying with them and going to fifth form. Jim was coming home from school when he saw the horse kick Martin in the chest.4,2 He was buried in St Columbanus Cemetery, Elgin, Leeds & Grenville County, OntarioG.4
