     Michael Jordan was born about 1801 in Ballindaggan, Templeshanbo, Co Wexford, IrelandG.1,2 He has also been reported to have been born in 1798.3 He married first Mary Farrell before 1828 in Co Wexford, Ireland. He and Mary Farrell immigrated between 1845 and 1847 to South Crosby Twp, Leeds County, Ontario.4,5 He was left a widower when Mary Farrell died on 10 August 1847.6 He married second Esther Cummins on 13 August 1848 in St Francis de Sales Church, Smiths Falls, Lanark County, OntarioG.7,8 He lived in Lot 14, Con 5, South Crosby Twp, Leeds County, Ontario.9 He left a will on 19 May 1863. He died between 1863 and 1869.10,3

Research Note: I have assumed that Michael Jordan, Mary Farrell, and their children were born in Ballindaggin, Co Wexford because their daughter Margaret's tombstone says "native of Ballindaggin, County Wexford, Ireland."2
