| Note | See publication #228 of the Brant County branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society. This is a recording of at least some early records of the Farringdon Church. Page 9 tells that Mary Sanderson presented Charles Sanderson for baptism at the Farringdon Church and that the date of his baptism was 2 July, 1854. This also presents his date of birth as being 31 May, 1854. This is at odds with some other records. The Warner & Beers history of Brant County, page 596, has a brief biography for Charles and his brother Richard. This tells that Charles was born in 1855 and Richard in 1856. Page 597 also has mention of Charles and Richard in the biography under their father's name, Thomas Sanderson. The page 597 biography has Charles being born in 1853 and Richard in 1854. The point is made in the page 596 biography that Charles and Richard married sisters, Harriet and Emily Mills, The gravestone for Charles and Richard have their years of birth as 1854 and 1855 respectively. Death reg. 008008-12 City of Brantford, Brant Co. Charles Sanderson died June 18, 1912, age 58 years. Date of birth May 30, year not given. Place of death 28 West Street, but apparently usual residence Brantford Township. Retired farmer. Parents Thomas Sanderson and Mary Birkett, both born England. Physician Dr. W. H. Nichol.
