The available image of this page as downloaded from Ancestry is dark toned to the point of being unreadable, at least so far as the Hill-McByrnie marriage is concerned.

With some hindsite, it is possible to make something out of it, to at least a degree, with the aid of the index at the back of the Home District's marriage register Volume 12. A bit more in the way of help, however, is gained from The Marriage Registers of Upper Canada/Canada West, Home District, 1843-1849, compiled by Dan Walker, Ruth Burkholder, and Fawne Stratford-Devai, Global Heritage Press, Milton (now of Ottawa). This was almost certainly put together by attending at the Archives of Ontario and viewing the original register.

They do make mention that the clergyman, Rev. Lewis Warner, was a Wesleyan Methodist clergyman. This agrees with later census information as to the church affiliation of the Hill family.

DeathHe died on 14 August 1905.
BurialHe was buried at Strong Community Cemetery, Sundridge, Parry Sound District.
NoteA death registration for George Hill has not been found. His date of death appears on his gravestone as found on Find-a-Grave. The stone tells that he died August 14, 1905.
