Residence Lot 17, Con. 9, North Dumfries Twp. Parents John Taylor, farmer, and Janet Dryden. Witnesses: Cecil Royden Hamill, and Ethel Ann Taylor, both of Galt. On 30 June, 1909, at Lot 17, Con. 9, North Dumfries Township, Waterloo County, by J. Cooper Antliff, D.D., Galt, by license. Rev. Antliff was the minister at Ainslie Street Methodist Church, now Wesley United Church of Canada. The 1910-12 directory for Galt shows Carman 'Hammill' on Lincoln Ave., houses unnumbered. A later directory has him at 59 Lincoln. |

Tennent, M.D. Informant John Taylor, 1st Con. Kinloss, sire. John Taylor reported Jane's birth to the township registrar on July 12th, who then returned the marriage registrations for the second half of 1878 to the Registrar General on January 3rd, 1879. |
