Length of residence at place of death 12 years. Parents George McTaggart, born Scotland (?) and Ann Morden, born Prince Edward County. Physician Dr. G. A. Platt, Picton. Informant Geo. R. Winters, Picton, son. Burial Glenwood Cemetery (Picton), March 16th , 1928. The 1901 census at Richmond in Lennox & Addington tells that Georgina's date of birth is May 24, 1852. Herein, she is described as a nurse. Her year of birth as shown, does not work with her age as shown in the 1861 census, though it may be correct. Her death registration also shows her place of birth as Hastings County. There is some possibility that she was actually born in Prince Edward County, but Hastings County does agree with her place of birth as shown on her marriage registration. |
