Informant Levi S. Shantz, Wilmot. The transcription done by the Waterloo branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society tells that Elizabeth died on the 6th of January. However, her death notice in the Herald of Truth as well as her death registration shows her date of death as 6th February. The death notice tells that she was buried on the 9th. The Herald of Truth does state her age to be 74 yrs., 5 mos., 7 dys. Her gravestone transcription states her age to be 74, 5, 7. Her date of birth is computed from this latter figure, but there is some room here for error. |
