Parents James and Julia Digby. Witnesses Joseph Fleury and Maria Fleury of Markham. On May 24th, 1873, at Markham, by Rev. George H. Cormick. The registrar has appended a note to the affect, that (unusually) while the clergyman filed the marriage in Toronto, where we might then say the marriage occurred, he told that the marriage was actually in Markham. This does not say whether in Markham town or township. For the moment, we take it to be the town of Markham. Lucinda's residence is shown as Claremont. This in Pickering Township and not far from Markham, be it town or township. |

Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto, in Plot D, Section 8, Lot 6. The 1919 burial page for Mt. Pleasant (image available Familysearch in coordination with the Toronto branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society) shows Lucinda's date of burial as May 24, 1919. |
