FHL Film Nbr. 919209 A problem here: The transcription of the Kidd gravestone in St. Philip's Church Cemetery tells that William died on September 9, 1834, at the age of 41 years, 11 months and 2 days. This calculates to a birthdate of 3 December, 1813, which, obviously, is after his date of baptism. His baptism date, 23 May, 1813, is probably correct. His age at time of death as it appears on the gravestone is probably in error. It seems reasonable to simply say simply that he was born in 1813. See notes for sister Mary. William was almost certainly born in Seamer as well as being baptized there. |
