The clergyman, Chas. E. Thompson, according to census information, was a minister of the Church of England.

NoteWhen Catharine married Johnson Champler Kidd in 1865 she was said to be a resident of Normanby Township. On the marriage registration her father's given name is illegible though his last name is shown as O'Donnell. Her mother is shown as Catharine O'Donnell.

A death registration for Catharine has been found. It shows her death as occurring on April 8, 1917. The registration isn't greatly informative, but does tell that her parents were Mortimer O'Donnell and Catharine Jardine.

With this information it is possible to track Catharine back to Normanby Township and does show her parents as Mortimer and Catharine O'Donnell. Illegible as her father's given name is on her marriage registration, probably something like 'Morty' was intended. This may seem a bit of a stretch looking at the document, but...it's almost certainly the correct interpretation.

If Catharine and Johnson had any children, candidates have yet to be found. The list of children found for Johnson are almost certainly the children of his first wife, Maria Winch.
