James, Courtright. The above birth registration only shows the son of John and Annie as John. It is understood that his name was John Stewart James. The 1921 census refers to John as Stewart. Later voters' lists show him as Stewart. Stewart James of a man of many talents. He was inventive at several levels, but a remarkable magician who would present effects he'd developed himself.
