| Note | In the U.S. census of 1900 it is evident that Leah Galer is James Kerr's second wife. He has a son Hamilton, born in August of 1883, and a daughter Helen G., born in March of 1886. James was a druggist in the Borough of Richmond in New York City in 1900; at the time of the 1910 census the family was in Queens, New York City. By 1910, only find the children of his second marriage in his home. His mother in law, Trissa Galer, so spelled, is with them in 1900 and both his father in law (Thomas R. Galer, so stated) and his mother in law are with them in 1910. |
