Hope Cemetery, Kitchener on January 4, 1926. George's place of birth is shown in his marriage registration as Wallace Township in Perth County. Certainly, the 1871 census shows George, age 5, with his parents and siblings in Wallace Township. The 1861 census, however, does show his parents and older siblings in Woolwich Township of Waterloo County. This tree shows his birth as being in Woolwich, but either may be correct. A church record of baptism may yet be found. |
