| Note | Five of the children of Martha and Robert Wiggins were baptized the same day, 10 May, 1855, at Woodhouse Township, per page 141 of the Wesleyan Methodist Baptisms. The whole page shows the baptisms to be in the Talbot District, though by 1855 this was actually Norfolk County.
The baptism record shows James' date of birth as 5 August, 1848, and his place of as Burford Township. At this time, Burford will have been in the Brock District, though not long after Burford became a part of Brant County. |
