Informant Father, Linwood (post office) Firstly, when this registration was filed, Robert's name was simply shown as Teeple Edwards. In 1955 a correction was filed that changed the full name to Robert Teeple Douglas Edwards. Secondly, Robert's mother's name was quite obviously entered incorrectly. This has the earmarks of a registration clerk's error. The mother's name on the previous registration was Sarah and Robert's mother got entered as such as well. Robert's date of birth, per the 1901 census is August 10, 1895, and this agrees with his date of birth as entered on this registration. Also, Robert's two older brothers were born in Wellesley Township and showed Linwood as the family's post office address. This is likewise for Robert. |
