Taylor, M.D. Robert's marriage registration as well as census information tells that he was born in Scotland. The 1901 census, which provides his date of birth, shows the year that he came to Canada as 1853. His job as turnkey meant that he worked at the county jail. The 1901 census describes him as gaol turnkey. |
