Informant Andrew Stewart, Puslinch. Filed on December 29th, 1873. There is room for all sorts of error with the above, which is probably due to the distress of Andrew in dealing with this. He didn't file Margaret's date of birth until December 19th, 1873. Her date of death on her gravestone read September 5, 1873. This was probably not erected until after Andrew's death, but is probably based on a bible entry and so probably correct. The gravestone states that she was 14 days of age when she died and this computes to a birth on August 22, 1873. Any of which may be wrong, but her date of death as it appears on her gravestone is take as a place to begin. |
