Physician Dr. S. G. Chalk, Ontario Hospital, London. Informant Colin Campbell, R. R. 3, Bayfield, cousin. Burial Egmondville Cemetery on July 20, 1929.

Nowhere do we find a direct statement as to Elizabeth's place of birth. We may note, however, that her parents purchased their property in Stanley Township in February of 1854. This was still winter and, with the prevailing westerlys coming off of Lake Huron, Stanley Township may fairly be said to be in snow belt country. The Delgatys were in Blenheim Township of Oxford County prior to their purchase of the Stanley Township property. It's entirely a guess, but, probably, Elizabeth was born in Blenheim Township and it may have been spring before the family made the move to Stanley.
