Rev. Kershaw's affiliation is as shown above. The words 'new connexion' are not capitalized. This is the first time your researcher has noticed the two church affiliations referred to together. 'Harsman' will probably be the interpretation of Kershaw's handwriting by the recording clerk.

Ichabod and Charles Horsman were brothers; Amanda and Emily Brown were sisters.
