He was baptized 18 May 1865 at Niagara Township. The clergyman's name is illegible on the page. Andrew's death was before death registrations were required. His date of death is taken from a transcription of St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery as done by the Niagara branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society. His burial appears to be in a family plot, probably purchased by this Methodist family when St. Mark's was also the town cemetery at Niagara Town. The plot was probably purchased by George Young and his wife Elizabeth Clement who were Andrew John Putman's great grandparents. He is actually buried with brother Charles and his uncle Andrew Putman. |
