| Note | Mary (Newman) Amor appears in the 1851 census (begun in January of 1852) in South Dumfries. She is shown as a widow. The family is described as being Methodist, but names of the children or other reasonably identifiable family members have yet to be found in the Wesleyan Methodist Baptism records. Per Find-a-Grave, Mary is buried in West Haven Cemetery, New Haven Township, Shiawassee County, Michigan. A death registration for her is yet to be found. The inscription on her gravestone only shows her years of birth and death (1803-1874). Her maiden name is not shown on the gravestone. |
