The Guelph branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society transcribed this cemetery and they show his gravestone as reading: Alexander son of Augustus and A. Howes died Aug. 4, 1863 aged 17 yrs, 11 mos., 16 days. Buried with him is his infant nephew, Alexander, son of his brother Peter. The nephew died some ten years later. |
