Mary Hall

ID # 6011, (1810-1881)
BirthMary Hall was born in April 1810 at Oxfordshire, England.
MarriageShe married William Collingridge on 10 October 1836 at Cottisford, Oxfordshire, England.
The banns of marriage were read in the church at Cottisford for:

William Collingridge, widower, of the parish of Hardwick, and Mary Hall, spinster, of this parish.

The banns were read on the 25th September, 1836, and the 2nd and 9th of October.

The Cottisford marriage register records that William Collingridge of Hardwick and Mary Hall, spinster of 'this parish' were married in the church by banns on 10 October, 1836, by William Watson, curate. The witnesses were Jame Rouk and Lucy Collingridge.

The bride and groom signed the document with an X. Lucy Collingridge did as well. James Rouk was evidently able to sign his name.

DeathShe died on 18 February 1881 at West Garafraxa Twp., Wellington Co., at age 70.
NoteAncestry has the images of a book: Cottisford, register of the births (from) 1759. A Mary Hall is entered here in 1810. She is shown as the daughter of John and Alice Hall. There are handwriting problems with the entry, for it appears to show her baptism as April 2, but her birth as April 7th. For the moment, a birth in April of 1810 seems the most likely and would certainly agree with her death registration which appears below. Cottisford is the place of baptism and may be the place of birth as well, but this is unsure.

Death reg. 020221-81 West Garafraxa Twp., Wellington Co.
