NoteMona's date of birth is taken from the 1901 census. She is with her parents in Yale & Cariboo, British Columbia. Her place of birth is taken from her marriage registration.

Mona and her husband, John Villiers Barrett-Lennard, sailed to England on the Empress of France a few days after their marriage. John died in April of 1925 and in June of 1925, Mona arrived Quebec City on the 30th. She was destined to visit with her uncle, Mr. Hyndman, in Victoria, B.C. She gave as her English contact her mother-in-law. Mona returned to England in November of 1925 aboard the Montrose. The address in England to which she is destined is the same as that of her mother-in-law, her English contact on her westward voyage.

Wikipaedia responds to a search for Mona Constance Barrett-Lennard with nothing direct, but it has a biography for Bentley Collingwood Hilliam, 1890-1968. This tells that he married Mona C. Barrett-Lennard in 1926. Hilliam wrote comedies and Mona appeared with him in the comedies, evidently on stage. Something of a background for this may be found in Women and Comedy, History, Theory, and Practice, 2013, edited by Peter Dickinson, Anne Higgins, Paul Mathew St. Pierre, Diana Solomon, and Sean Zwagerman. (See Google Books.)

FreeBMD tells that Mona Constance Hilliam died in the 2nd quarter of 1978 in the District of New Forest. Her full name is given and her date of birth is quoted. A place of burial for Mona has not been found. We have no information as to whether she had children.
