Informant Walter Misener, farmer, Beverley. The Beverly Township registrar, Wallace McDonald, at this early date, for some reason was recording the township name as Beverley. Death reg. 010654-74 Beverly Twp., Wentworth Co. Lillian Misener died December 7, 1873, age 4 years, 3 mos., 27 dys. Daughter of Walter and D.J. Misener. Born Beverly. Methodist. Cause of death measles 2 weeks. Physician Dr. Mainwaring. Informant John R. Neff, merchant, Troy, Beverly. Registered December 17, 1873, but not returned by the registrar until January 2, 1874. Lillian's name does not appear in the list of Walter and Deborah's children as it appears in the Misener family tree in the 1947 History of the People of Troy. Her name is recorded, however, on a gravestone in Troy Cemetery, and her age at time of death, 4 years, 3 months, 27 days, agrees with her death registration. |
